Alright. Yes, Addison is
finally getting up on her knees. Now if only she knew what to do once she got up there, life would be much more hectic. As it is, she gets everywhere she wants/needs to go with a series of floor-humps, stretches, and rolls. My girl is creative, I can say that. She also goes from belly to butt like a professional now and has even started trying to figure out how her crib railings can be more beneficial to her.
She also has a great sense of humor; she thinks the first 5-8 minutes of "Horton Hears a Who," is some of the funniest stuff out there, and then she loses interest.
Owen; well, Owen is his own little piece of work. We are trying to curb his back-talking without a lot of success.
"Come over here, Owen, and pick that up, please."
"No I not come over there and pick that up, please."
"Time for bed, Owen."
"No it not time for bed, mama."
You get it, right?
Also, he went to a ski shop with my mom, picked out a relatively expensive Burton hat and refused to take it off his head... still, 3 days later, he is napping with it on right now. At least its a nice hat. He certainly doesn't get his expensive tastes from me... (Silence!) But, on a happier note, he is finally going to be easier at night again; sometimes he doesn't cry at all, other times for only a few minutes. That is, at least until we change him over to a bed.
Hmmm... What else?
Jesse and I have both been working a lot and haven't had time for much of anything else. I am trying to blow through the end of the coding program I am in and should be done in 2-3 months. I have applied for an editing position at a different company, which may mean a little more money but will really just be for experiences sake. I think that might be it... We are borning, sorry.
